There is an instructor PC located at the instructor's desk in each of the 5 classroom studios. The computer will always be fired up and ready to go when you arrive for your class. However, should you need to restart the computer for any reason, the username is Guest, and the password field should be left blank. The output of the PC will be visible to all of the students while you are using it. If you need a special program for your class that is not currently installed on the instructor PC, please notify us and we will get it taken care of.

Some instructors prefer their own laptops to the instructor PCs, which is not a problem. In each of the classroom studios, on the instructor desk and near the instructor PC, there is a VGA cable that is used to plug directly into laptop computers. It may be necessary to adjust your laptop's display settings and/or change the laptop to "presenter mode". This is usually accomplished by pressing a combination of the Function button and one of the F keys.

Finally, there is an A/B switch that must be flipped. The "A" setting is the instructor PC setting. The "B" setting is used for laptop presentations. Each of these switch boxes is located in a slightly different place, so it is recommended that you show up for your first class session a little earlier than necessary so that a Media Specialist can help you get your laptop
